Lazy Lu

Lazy Lu is a poem by Gerald Sprayregen about Lucille, a rain drop. She is being called Lazy Lu by her mates, because she is always the last to hit the ground. Her Mum, the teachers and the school doctor are upset with her and she is tired of the bullies at school. One day she decides to prove everyone that she can be the fastest raindrop. She asks the Chief of all the rain Drops to announce a race between all rain drops. She wins the race and receives the prize: a two-week vacation to Hawaii.
